NDT Inspector Certification 

   The Certification of competence of non-destructive testing personnel Inspector certification scheme is mainly based on ISO 9712, ISO 17024 and SNT TC1A, There is a wide range of qualification examinations available within the Scheme, covering various NDT methods, techniques & Sectors. The Sectors are defined by ISO 9712 Annex A, which is including the Manufacturing, In-Service, Fabrication. The products are covered Welding, Forging, Castings, Tubes and pipes, wrought products.

NDT METHOD MPI( MT)  CRITERIA 

Education & Training

  • Level 1; At least secondary education level & verifiable Training evidence of 16 Hrs
  • Level 2; At least secondary education level & verifiable Training evidence of 24 Hrs OR 8 Hrs + Level I Certification
  • Level 3; At least Diploma/Degree certificate level & verifiable Training evidence of 32 Hrs.

Grade Experience

  • Level 1; Minimum of one month/160 Hours work experience in total, on job training not including. Under the Supervision of a Level 2 or 3 Certified person.
  • Level 2; Minimum of three month/ 480 Hours work experience in total on job training not including. Under the Supervision of a Level 2 or 3 Certified person.
  •  Level 3; At least two year work experience in total with Level 2 Certification

Skill Examination

Successfully pass online/offline written examination and onsite practical exam by IRCP appointed person

Work Experience

Applicants for Specified grade must provide verifiable evidence as bellow:-

  • At least three year work experience in total including on job training.
  • Proof of optical test.
